Santiago to Punta Arenas

A morning in Santiago - late rising and sorting ourselves out.  A chance to sit in the garden at the hotel waiting for our pick up and then back to the airport.  Row 29 this time (still the back row) on a route that stopped off on the way! The second leg of the flight proved the more interesting as there were great views of the mountains, lakes and some glaciers.  Punta Arenas airport gave us the 'moment' of there being no driver in evidence to collect us.  We ended up getting a shuttle to the hotel and then having to try to make contact with travel agents to check what was going on (not yet satisfactorily sorted).  We walked out to a local restaurant and has a nice meal - and were able to wander back in the light at 10.20.  We join our ship tomorrow and have no internet.
